Jennifer Fishel, O.D.

Dr. Jennifer Fishel is a graduate of Emory & Henry College with a B.S. in Biology, cum laude. Following her graduation, she attended Optometry school at the University of Alabama Birmingham.

She has been an active member of the Eastern Carolina community for over 20 years and is happy to return to her family in Southwestern Virginia/North Eastern Tennessee.

She is a member of the American Optometric Society, Coastal District Optometric Society (NC), and has performed specialty care in low vision, pediatrics, RGP/Scleral lenses, and nursing home care. Dr. Fishel attributes the reason she became an optometrist to her desire to help people see better and improve their lives with the best ocular outcome possible. Her passion includes ocular disease treatment and comprehensive eye exams for adults and children.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, both human and fur children, and has been an active member of her church. Her interests include cooking and crafts.
